Your host has over a decade’s experience at the helm of luxury establishments, expertise that prompted her to open her own guesthouse, spurred on by a passion for sharing her love of nature, comfort, and well-being with her guests, all in a region steeped in things to do and see.

Tucked away in the heart of Normandy’s lush countryside, the Domaine de la Fauvrière awaits in an early 19th-century manor crafted from schist and slate, a majestic building that entrances and enchants from the moment you step through the front door.

You might also prefer to get up close and personal with Mother Nature in our cosy wooden lodges, for extra privacy and intimacy in the meadow behind the estate.

The Domaine de la Fauvrière also serves as an idyllic setting complete with rolling grounds, a jacuzzi and a terrace – perfect for hosting receptions, drinks, meetings, family reunions and professional get-togethers.

The neighbours here are quiet and discreet: cows and farm animals, and nothing more. Welcome to a restful haven designed to recharge your batteries, an unadulterated shot of bucolic life and an excellent base from which to explore Calvados’ countryside and spots brimming with history.

The D-Day Landing Beaches are just 30 minutes away from the Domaine de la Fauvrière, where throughout the year many American, Canadian, and British visitors gather to commemorate an event synonymous with victory, freedom, and fraternity.

The estate stretches over 5 hectares of grounds where children are free to play, and adults encouraged to unwind, comprised of several different spaces.

Nestled amidst the wildflowers are our 5 wooden lodges, designed for visitors willing to reconnect with nature and immerse themselves in new experiences.

Each of the estate’s entrance gates is fitted with a keypad lock for complete peace of mind.

The interior design here has been crafted for a warm, refined feel. Breakfast is served in the dining room giving out onto the garden.

You will find a fireplace, authentic wooden floorboards. The sideboard and table and chairs have all been lovingly renovated by the family itself.

The lounge offers a soothing, relaxing atmosphere complete with plush couches and a blazing wood stove during winter.

Guests are free to cosy up here around the clock, dipping into book put at your disposal, and sipping at complimentary tea or coffee.

Premium, contemporary conveniences and furnishings have been added for maximum comfort, all in keeping with the manor’s authentic atmosphere.

Wi-Fi is available free of charge in the main building’s lounge.
